Walsave Credit Union is a Financial Institution, open to everyone who lives or works in the Walsall area, that provides savings and loan facilities for the benefit of our members.
Joining the Credit Union is the best decision you could make for your money.
How do I Join?
To become a member you will need to fill in a Membership Application Form and provide 2 forms of Identification. Plus you will need £1 in cash to activate your account.
You can click on 'JOIN US' at the top of this page and fill out the online form - you can then pop in at a later date with your 2 forms of Identification to complete the opening of your account.
Or you can download the form by clicking on the link below, fill it in and bring it with you to credit union office along with £1 in cash and following documents:
- Valid Photo ID - Passport or Drivers License
- Proof of Address - Utility Bill or Bank Statement
Join via our website. Fill out and submit an Online Membership Application and a member of staff will follow up to finalise your membership.
Join via PDF form. Download, fill out and bring it with you to credit union office along with the documents to finalise your membership.

After joining, setting up a regular payment via Direct Debit to come into your Walsave account and us receiving this payment consecutively for 3 months, members can then apply for flexible loans and repay at tailor-made schedules. All our loans are fully insured (for free), against disability or death.
Every year we pay an attractive dividend on members savings, which are also placed in our Life Insurance scheme, offering a free insurance system on your savings.
You can be assured of a professional service from the Credit Union at all times. And you do not pay a transaction fee for saving with us, or borrowing money.
Arrange a Direct Debit payment from your bank and be sure of regular payments to your Credit Union account. We will send you a statement showing all transactions.
